Our mission was to recruit a senior-level technology executive for this early-stage provider of simulations-based software tools.  The company’s technology platform allows for concurrent design of hardware and software for embedded applications within the wireless, consumer, and automotive sectors.  The requirement was for an executive with previous CTO experience within the area of processor/architecture design along with a successful track-record for translating technological capabilities into strategic business decisions.

2 Board of Directors– Photonic Solutions

We were tasked with securing 2 BOD members for a publicly traded  global provider of intelligent photonic solutions that enable and enhance optical wavelength multiplexing, switching & routing.  The requirement was for 1.) a CEO and 2.) a CFO - both with public company experience who had worked within the optical communications space and had a track-records of strategic leadership in facilitating growth.

President  – Silicone Products Manufacturer

Our client is an international leader that manufactures advanced silicone products for severe conditions within aerospace, nuclear, and various commercial applications.  We were chartered to place a President with functional P&L experience with a particular strength in Lean and Six Sigma manufacturing processes, along with the requisite skills of managing a business that produces high-volume custom (non-standard) solutions for its customer base.

Board of Director – SaaS, Managed Tax Services

Our charter was to place a BOD member for a privately held SaaS (software-as-a-service) provider of the industry’s first complete, outsourced sales and use tax compliance service for small-to mid-market companies. The requirement was for an operating executive with domain expertise in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) on a global scale with strong experience in the design and implementation of financial business processes.

 

 

Vice President Business Development – Early-stage Optical Instruments Provider

 

Successfully recruited the Vice President of Business Development for an early-stage provider of ultra-trace gas analyzers for environmental monitoring, advancing semiconductor manufacturing, and petrochemical process control. The company is backed by tier-one venture capital firms including Benchmark Capital and Greylock Partners.  The challenge was to recruit an executive with systems knowledge from diverse markets and the requisite track record in directing strategy and execution to scale an early-stage company.

Recruited an entrepreneurial CEO to lead a manufacturer of semiconductor instruments providing yield enhancement for photolithography applications.  Our charter was to recruit an executive with domain expertise in yield management, international leadership with a special focus on Asia, and a successful track record in scaling early-stage companies.

Manufacturer of advanced enterprise servers designed to dramatically change the operational efficiency and cost advantages through systems that run the z/OS operating system along with Linux, UNIX, and Windows simultaneously on the same system.  The company is backed by Blueprint Ventures, Goldman Sachs, Intel Capital, InterWest Partners, and Investcorp.

Our client is the world leader in providing sensors and safety systems for environmental, transportation, and various industrial platforms. We were tasked to find a President with a successful track record that combined business, operational, and marketing skills along with the requisite software knowledge that pertained to the company’s unique technology platform.

 

 

Vice President of Engineering – Fabless Semiconductor Start-up

Recruited an engineering leader, reporting to the CEO of an early-stage fables semiconductor company that is building revolutionary audio amplification based System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions.  This required an executive with mixed-signal expertise and previous experience managing both engineering design and operations teams in multiple, international locations.  The company is backed by Intel Capital, TL Ventures, Origin Partners, and the Singapore Economic Development Board.
